Neighborhood Security Benchmarking

Settler Security benchmarking tracks key security metrics across a collective of residential members. Annual reports and custom data pulls help identify weaknesses and recommend solutions for your HOA.

In developing the Settler Security business model, we talked with many HOA board members, HOA community managers, and property developers. Everyone understood the importance of security and the challenges the current environment poses, but who did not have clear answers on the best way to address those issues or the commercial impact of security investments. 

We heard a wide variety of questions:

• Should I fence my new development? 

• Security guard prices are up. Am I getting a fair deal? 

• How much do security guard services contribute to property values? 

• What are other communities doing? 

• What is working best to prevent crime and vandalism? 

To answer those questions and many more, we are building a benchmarking offering. The core of the service will be a database of key security parameters and outputs.

All data will be anonymized. We will not report on any segment without a minimum of 5 communities represented.  

PRICING

To develop a strong data foundation, we are enrolling beta-testing partners. These partners will receive FREE membership for a minimum of year after the product is launched. Please contact us to join the beta. Opportunities for free beta membership are limited. 

After our beta is closed, membership in the benchmarking collective will be available at $1000/year, per community. (HOA managers, please contact us to discuss volume discounts or flat rates). This fee will include annual reporting and one custom data cut. 

Additional custom reports will be available for a fee. Fee will vary based on complexity and data availability. 

Non-contributing communities may access the annual report for $2000.
