Warehouse Data Cabling
Set your business security cameras, alarms, and other networked systems up for success with Settler Security cabling services.
We can provide:
CAT5e or CAT6 data cabling for networks or PoE (power over ethernet) low-voltage hardware
Coaxial cable replacement for traditional CCTV networks
Coax-to-digital encoding for adding digital equipment to older facilities and networks
Fiber-optic cabling for large-building networks
We can support cable installations in hung ceilings and in a variety of warehouse and industrial settings, including in conduit and elevated ceilings. At construction, we can work with your General Contractor to schedule installation to minimize cabling costs and maximize flexibility.
All installations are performed by licensed, experienced teams. We don’t take shortcuts on cable quality or installation methods. Your system will be installed with materials and techniques that will maximize its reliability and durability.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Cables in large warehouses and industrial buildings are often different from short runs in behind drop-tile office ceilings. They can be extremely long and often require more protection from the environment and moving equipment.
Running cabling in these environments also requires careful planning to avoid or minimize disruptions to operations. Timing lift placements and aisle closures carefully can make dramatic differences in unpriced costs of an installation.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, large systems require special planning for maximum distances and voltage drops. Inexperienced cable installers may get cable installed correctly, but in a way that does not support the system goals. Browned or blacked out hardware, data loss, constrained bandwidth, and lower equipment lifespans may result. Settler will ensure that your entire system - including cabling and data infrastructure - is built to meet your goals. We promise this and stand by it with our warranty.

Settler can install coaxial cable, ethernet cable, and fiber optic cable (without splicing). We can provide and install specialized jacketing for direct burial, or outdoor/UV-protected. We can protect cabling with a variety of conduit and raceway solutions.
-
Yes, Settler provides a variety of diagnostic and reparative services for existing installations. We can help with network mapping, cable testing, retermination, and re-labeling.
-
Yes. While we are specialized in cabling to support security systems, we can plan and install structured cabling systems for networks and other data applications. Often this helps clients save money and get better network documentation by doing all cabling at one step.
In addition, many MSPs ([IT] managed service providers) do not install cable and do not keep staff skilled in the kinds of large-scale projects required in warehouse environments (e.g. lift certifications).
In these cases, we often partner with MSPs to ensure their cabling needs are planned for and properly executed at installation.
